Dove-tailed wooden shipping crate for one dozen bottles. Crate is branded on all four sides. Front and back as seen in photo. Sides: NATURE’S CURE / FOR / HARNESS GALLS / SORE SHOULDERS / SCRATCHES / AND LAMENESS FROM / ANY CAUSE WHATEVER. The cate is very early with a Portland Street address in Boston. 10”x 8 ½”x 7 ½”. No lid. It looks like the crate was once lined with a red fabric as many nails exist with fragments of this fabric.
