#34 Young’s “Asorbine” Horse Racing Lithograph

Framed lithograph dated 1907 from the W. F. Young Company of Springfield, MA. The produced a horse liniment called Absorbine. Advertising on the roof of the racetrack stands and fence reads: ABSORBINE / KILLS PAIN – CURES LAMENESS / REMOVES BUNCHES / ABSORBINE HELPS WIN RACES. I think this is especially interesting in light of the disqualification of the 2021 Kentucky Derby winner for supposedly using a medicine I put in dog’s ears for many years. The illustration is of the World Champion trotting team of Monk and Equity setting their world record in 1904. The lithograph is in beautiful condition, double matted, and nicely framed. Ready to hang on the wall.
